Dinner Dance Awards

Annual Award Dinner Dance

Once again NCS enjoyed our 5th Annual Awards Dinner Dance, which marked a very successful 20 years in business. This is a major mile stone which prompts us to look back and reflect on the hard work, partnerships, the highs and the lows, that we have experienced along the way.

Since we began, back in 1988, our business has grown from strength to strength, which made our annual dinner dance a poignant time to get together to acknowledge and celebrate that success.

Looking forward, we hope NCS will continue to grow and develop over the next 20 years, as it has the last, and we would like to take this opportunity to extend our thanks to our loyal customers in making NCS the success that it is today, long may our relationships continue.

It is thought that up to a third of businesses have counterfeit software in their systems, without even realising.

Supporting Scottish Hockey

NCS recently sponsored Scottish Hockey, and the Borders Hockey Taster Programme, and donated £4150, which was matched by Sportsmatch, to bring the total to an amazing £8300.

NCS originally provided several key office solutions for Scottish Hockey, and offered additional support for Hockey through funding the Borders Taster Programme. Scottish Hockey then made an application to the Sportsmatch Award scheme, which matches commercial sponsorship invested in community sport. The money donated allowed Scottish Hockey to hire a development Officer for the borders area, allowing them to reach more schools and children. This programme will ensure that players keep playing after school, and gain lifelong benefits.

Our Managing Director, Tom Nolan, said of the initiative, "We are  delighted to be involved in such a forward thinking initiative that encourages the development of youth sports in Scotland.  Our contribution to The Sportsmatch Award scheme will help allow the SHU to develop their Borders Hockey Taster Programme and we wish them every success with this."
