Environmental Policy
NCS recognise the social responsibility we have as a company to protect and minimise the impact our Business has on the environment. As a company we are aware of the increasing need to control the use of resources and all areas of our business are reviewed on an ongoing basis to ensure we make effective use of resources and reduce the amount of waste.
Resources
We will aim to make effective use of resources, in particular paper and packaging, energy and water.
Staff are encouraged to be aware of their use of resources and to try and minimise consumption and recycle any such materials where appropriate.
As paper is the resource used most within our offices, we encourage staff to use electronic communication where possible and we send out used paper for recycling through the Local Recycling Authority.
Managers have a responsibility to ensure that heating, cooling, air-conditioning, lighting and use of electronic equipment within the office is as energy efficient as possible.
Machines
All our machines where possible are reused, broken down for parts or recycled.
We work alongside all our suppliers to ensure that all Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is collected from our customers and recycled in lines with the WEEE Directive 2006.
Suppliers
Our suppliers have a strong focus on conserving resources and recycling and the safe disposal of waste products.
Toshiba, our main supplier of Photocopiers, employ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) values as part of their strategy and business and have a wide range of documentation that supports this strong environmental work ethos, including a yearly report regarding social responsibility.

Panasonic, our main supplier of Telecommunications products, has a series of initiatives set up to reduce their impact on the environment including stringent filtration measures for waste water which go far beyond regulatory standards, strict control of exhaust gases and emissions, and careful operational controls to keep energy consumption to a minimum.

Review & Implementation
All our suppliers, partners and clients will receive a copy of our Environmental Policy and be regularly updated with any changes we implement that will affect any aspect of this policy.
Our environmental policy will be reviewed on an annual basis by our Board of Directors ensuring that we keep up with any developments in environmental management, we meet the needs of our clients and we comply with any changes in law.
