Field Sales Executive(s) - Newcastle

We are growing our operations in Scotland and are looking for an ambitious Field Sales Executive(s) to join our Glasgow based team.

  • An outgoing, effective communicator who builds rapport quickly. 
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills. 
  • Naturally goal or target driven.

  • Full driving license. 
  • 1 years B2B sales experience plus a great attitude & work ethic. 
  • Helping local businesses and developing new customers for NCS! Being at a part of our local sales team puts you right at the heart of our future success and in a position to really help other local businesses. 
  • You’ll be making calls, connecting with businesses, building relationships and booking meetings. 
  • This is an end to end role so you’ll be attending meetings, assessing your customers needs and determining how NCS can help. 
  • You’ll develop and present tailored proposals that will result in happy customers and new business for NCS. 
  • Ultimately you will be responsible for reaching, and exceeding, the very realistic performance targets you will be given by completing these activities, meeting all key performance indicators, keeping our business CRM updated 
  • Job Type: Permanent 
  • Basic Salary: £18,000 to £22,000 per annum, based on experience. 
  • OTE: £30,000 is genuinely achievable in first year. However this is uncapped. Your earnings can grow year and year as you progress in your career. 
  • A company car and fuel card are also provided (after 3 months successful probationary period) as well as a laptop and mobile phone. 
  • Progression! Many of our new Field Sales Executives have went on to become senior, highly successful, and key members of our teams, they’ll help you get there too. We’re keen to support and reward rapid progression within our teams.

Sales Academy Coach/Manager

NCS is proud to be one of the largest office technology providers in the UK and as such have strong relationships with some of the world’s major office equipment manufacturers which include Mitel, Toshiba, Lexmark, Panasonic, FP Mailing and many more. To support our ambitious growth plans we are currently recruiting for a Sales Academy Coach to join our Sales Management team. 

As our Sales Academy Coach you will primarily focus on recruiting and developing trainee field sales executives to introduce fresh new talent to our sales teams across the UK. Bringing together your wealth of sales skills, knowledge and coaching capabilities, you will prepare our trainees for progression into our established field sales teams across the business divisions. 

Working alongside our Sales Directors and Regional Managers, you will play a critical role within our Sales Management Team and have autonomy over implementing, developing and maintaining an effective Sales Academy Program in line with our ambitious business development plans. 

  • Oversee and facilitate sales training and trainee recruitment throughout the business.
  • Fully develop and implement an effective 3-6 Month Sales Academy Program in line with ongoing business needs.
  • Deliver group coaching and 1:1 sessions to develop key sales skills and ensure trainees are fully trained in company sales processes and deal paperwork.
  • Liaise with key product/service partners to co-ordinate a robust training program ensuring trainees achieve a competent level of knowledge in our core product range.
  • Utilise a variety of coaching methods and frameworks to improve sales performance and capabilities across the trainee sales team.
  • Shadow trainee field sales meetings to provide support and assess skills gaps.
  • Monitor, track and evaluate sales performance throughout the Sales Academy Program.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest coaching trends and product/service innovations for continuous learning.
  • Reporting to the Sales Director and working alongside Regional Sales Managers to identify areas of improvement and development across Field Sales.

You might be a successful field sales executive with some experience of sharing and developing junior members of your team, or a sales manager looking for a change in direction. Critically, you’re passionate about sharing your skills and knowledge to help others develop and grow. 

    • Ideally you will have a minimum of 12-18 month’s experience managing a sales team or in a coaching /training role.
    • Although not essential a field -based, office equipment background would be advantageous.
    • A proven track record in delivering against set objectives in sales, product knowledge, training is essential.
    • Ability to demonstrate and instil a high degree of work ethic and professionalism in Trainees.
    • Proven ability to share experience and knowledge effectively to improve skills.
    • Highly organised with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; both written and verbal.
    • Have a learning and development mindset with a true passion to develop people.
  • This position offers the successful candidate a rare opportunity within a highly successful business, Salary ranges from £45-50K depending on experience, plus performance related Bonus, Company Car/Allowance, Laptop & Mobile.
