NCS Belfast – Supporting Cancer Fund for Children
We are beyond excited to report that NCS Belfast have recently gifted Cancer Fund for Children a huge £22,000 worth of printing services.
Cancer Fund for Children works to empower, connect and strengthen children and young people impacted by cancer across the island of Ireland through providing emotional, social and therapeutic support in hospital, at home and at their dedicated short break centre, Daisy Lodge.
This substantial ‘gift in-kind’ covered the charity’s entire printing needs, at what was a very difficult time for many charities, as they struggled through the financial challenges of COVID from 2019 through to 2022.
We’re delighted to report that the support of NCS has allowed the charity to focus their funds on providing their vital services, working to ensure no child has to face cancer alone.
John Taggart, Account Manager at NCS says It was important to us from the get go that Cancer Fund For Children, and their amazing team, got the most out of our services so they can continue to do what they do best. We have been fortunate to work with lots of wonderful organisations in our 30+ years history, so when the opportunity to support Cancer Fund for Children arose, during what was a difficult period for many 3rd sector organisations, we were delighted to offer our help. NCS’s mission is to drive customer success through our workplace technologies and deliver real world impact, we believe our partnership with Cancer Fund for Children is a great example of this in practice.”
Corinna Decodts, IT and Facilities Manager at Cancer Fund for Children says “We are so grateful for the amazing support of NCS over the last 3 years which has allowed our team to focus our funds on what matters most: supporting children and young people impacted by cancer. The team at NCS are long term supporters and a wonderful bunch of people who are passionate about what they do and committed to working with partners to deliver the best solution possible.”
Cancer Fund for Children supports over 1,500 children and young people and 500 families impacted by cancer each year, so they feel equipped to whatever cancer throws at them.
