Billing Administrator, Glasgow

Job description

NCS is proud to be one of the largest office technology providers in the UK and as such have strong relationships with some of the world’s leading manufacturers which include Mitel, Panasonic, Lexmark, Toshiba and many more.

We are looking for an experienced Administrator who has an understanding of the billing processes. Previous billing experience is desired for this role, as is a good working knowledge of Excel and a proven ability to produce effective work within tight deadlines. Good organisational skills, verbal reasoning skills and numerical skills are also essential for this role.

The main purpose of this role is to ensure that all invoices are issued to customers in a timely and accurate manner. Reporting to the Billing Manager, your main duties will include but not be restricted to:

Maintaining and Updating records in our core billing database including:

  • Data Entry of meter reading
  • Keying Contracts

 

Responsible for contract administration including:

  • cancellations
  • new contracts
  • updates, changes
  • customer and sales interactions

 

Other Responsibilities include:

  • Set up of equipment in the database in preparation for Service team to log calls.
  • Compile necessary information to send accurate and timely invoices to our client base.
  • Prepare monthly reports (excel) for Service Director.
  • Respond to internal and external customer enquiries in a courteous professional manner.
  • Assist sales team, credit control department and customers with billing and contract issues and questions.
  • Reconciliation with customers by phone and email.

Job Description

The key objective of this position is to ensure first class installation and servicing of PBX Equipment. This role will entail installation, maintenance, project engineering, support and remote diagnostics, mainly on Mitel and Panasonic product ranges, applications and peripherals.

Required Experience:

Installation & Maintenance of:

  • Voice over IP Telephony
  • Hosted Telephone Systems
  • Unified Communications
  • SiP on both PBX and Hosted
  • Working knowledge of Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of Cisco and Draytek routers.
  • VPN’s
  • CAT5e/6 Network Cabling

 

Preference is to have Mitel and Panasonic experience, although others will be considered.

Desired Skills:

This is a customer facing role so the candidate must have proven experience dealing with customers

Sales Academy Coach, Glasgow

To support our ambitious growth plans we are currently recruiting for a Sales Academy Coach to join our Sales Management team.

As our Sales Academy Coach you will primarily focus on recruiting and developing trainee field sales executives to introduce fresh new talent to our sales teams across the UK. Bringing together your wealth of sales skills, knowledge and coaching capabilities, you will prepare our trainees for progression into our established field sales teams across the business divisions.

Working alongside our Sales Directors and Regional Managers, you will play a critical role within our Sales Management Team and have autonomy over implementing, developing and maintaining an effective Sales Academy Program in line with our ambitious business development plans.

The Role

  • Oversee and facilitate sales training and trainee recruitment throughout the business.

  • Fully develop and implement an effective 3-6 Month Sales Academy Program in line with ongoing business needs.

  • Deliver group coaching and 1:1 sessions to develop key sales skills and ensure trainees are fully trained in company sales processes and deal paperwork.

  • Liaise with key product/service partners to co-ordinate a robust training program ensuring trainees achieve a competent level of knowledge in our core product range.

  • Utilise a variety of coaching methods and frameworks to improve sales performance and capabilities across the trainee sales team.

  • Shadow trainee field sales meetings to provide support and assess skills gaps.

  • Monitor, track and evaluate sales performance throughout the Sales Academy Program.

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest coaching trends and product/service innovations for continuous learning.

  • Reporting to the Sales Director and working alongside Regional Sales Managers to identify areas of improvement and development across Field Sales.

The Ideal Candidate

You might be a successful field sales executive with some experience of sharing and developing junior members of your team, or a sales manager looking for a change in direction. Critically, you’re passionate about sharing your skills and knowledge to help others develop and grow.

  • Ideally you will have a minimum of 12-18 month’s experience managing a sales team or in a coaching /training role.
  • Although not essential a field -based, office equipment background would be advantageous.

  • A proven track record in delivering against set objectives in sales, product knowledge, training is essential.
  • Ability to demonstrate and instil a high degree of work ethic and professionalism in Trainees.

  • Proven ability to share experience and knowledge effectively to improve skills.

  • Highly organised with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Have a learning and development mindset with a true passion to develop people.
